There are only a few wants on my wish list…okay that’s a lie. But, I do want something exotic and I love the look of snakeskin, especially on this cute clutch. Jimmy Choo hit gold with this, there are so many incarnations, including a bright neon green out for summer. Even the plain leather version are nice, but of course my eye catches this one! Brown bags are useful and practical but I find them rather dull, even though they make up most of my collection. Dark brown especially is popular enough, but honestly that is the most boring one of them all! What really shines out is this Jimmy Choo Saba Hobo in a gorgeous mink color. Luxe with a nifty serpentine accent on the handle is enough to bling this bag out while still appreciating that soft nappa leather. Another perk to this bag is that it’s not overwhelmingly huge; Dimensions: 13″W x 13″H x 7 1/2″D; 9″ strap drop. Nice huh? So you’ll be looking good with this carried over your shoulder. Of course, I’m thinking of myself carrying this bag, I just can’t get over that beautiful shade of not-boring brown. Plus, this bag comes with magnetic closure, interior zip pocket, with pda and slip pockets for essentials. The color would complement my pale skin without giving too much contrast and the shape is comfortable without looking like one is trying too hard at all. Verdict: very chic! Bravo, Jimmy Choo. The Jimmy Choo Saba Hobo in pacific blue is from the Resort 2009 collection available now for pre-order. The soft nappa leather has me enjoying the clean lines of yet another Jimmy Choo bag. I go straight for their simple designs with stunning leather and small accents that make the bag a standout. The magnetic closure and hobo shape make it a comfortable shoulder bag. The only problem one might have is that it is too plain, but otherwise if you like your designer bags understated, but with supple, gorgeous leather, this is it. My complaint is that the price seems a little high for this piece. Oh well, buy through Nordstrom for $2450.

Jimmy Choo has somehow always gone over my head. I think her shoes are sexy and divine and the bags stand out, but I never took the bait. That is…until now. The buttery soft nappa leather is exquisite. The color shown above, stone, is just meant to go with everything from your business uniform to your weekend jeans. Other than the small name plate close to the base, the design and the exotic snakeskin handle are what make this bag classic and enduring. The dimensions are 16″W X 16″H X 4¼”D. Not overly huge (which I hate) but just right for still looking chic without having the carrying-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink look. Another perfect every day bag found, which is becoming my specialty. You would think the price would sky rocket with the nice little exotic touches. Bottega Veneta has been known to shoot up the price on plain leather bags with a few scraps of exotic added, which should never warrant the price tag. Luckily Jimmy Choo doesn’t take advantage of the snakeskin additions. You could pay many times more for just a plain leather bag without the gorgeous handle details. Purchase through Saks for $1,495.
